Skilled nursing facility (SNF) professionals at the forefront of the Bundled Payments for Care Improvement (BPCI) movement will gather in Orlando for a two-day collaborative event starting on Thursday, April 7, 2016.
The Remedy SNF Innovation Collaborative, a first-of-its-kind event, will bring together some 120 clinicians and administrators representing over 90% of Remedy’s 437 Model 3 SNF partners from across the nation.
Gene Huang, Vice President, Business Development for Remedy Partners says, “this Collaborative comes at a rare time in history, where healthcare incentives have aligned to make it easier to do the ‘right thing’ as we enable patients to effectively recover during an episode of care.”
“This Collaborative is a unique opportunity for Model 3 SNFs to share best practices and continue the vital work of care redesign, so our patients can experience more coordinated, more affordable healthcare.”
As an Awardee Convener in the BPCI Initiative, one of Remedy’s goals is to provide a diverse set of programs and resources to enable partners to succeed in bundled payments. This is reflected in the two-day program, which includes sessions ranging from opportunities in value-based purchasing to using analytics to boost success, as well as several sessions offering lessons from the field. More than half of the presenters and panelists are Remedy clients who have an opportunity to talk about their real world frontline successes and challenges
Dr. Joseph Ouslander, the Project Director of the INTERACT program will give the keynote address on lessons learned from the implementation of the Interact Quality Improvement program.
Remedy collaborative events are the nation’s premier networking and learning opportunities for clinicians and administrators in bundled payment programs. They convene thought leaders, policy makers and care providers working together to increase quality of care and reduce unnecessary costs.
